Sample Edit
Starting a one-on-one academic edit
Every one-on-one editing relationship starts with you—your questions and your requirements. A Sample Edit introduces us to each other You will want to know (a) my availability, (b) my fee, and (c) what you will get for your money. A Sample Edit answers these questions. More importantly, it will allow you to judge whether my work will provide the professional polish and scholarly perfection that you are seeking. Send your manuscript or a couple of pages If you wish to have a Sample Edit, please attach your manuscript to the Sample Edit Form. When I return your manuscript to you, you will find the Sample fully edited and tracked in Microsoft Word. You will also find a fixed-price quotation. Even if you do not wish to have a Sample Edit, but only have questions for the “Anything else I need to know?” window, it is still a good idea to send your manuscript if you would like exact pricing information. Privacy and Confidentiality Information and documents that I receive from you belong to you, as do the contents of any edit that I perform for you. I have no proprietary interest in these materials. I will treat these materials as private and confidential to you and will not share them with any other party. Upon completion of an engagement, I will ask for your permission to use the title of your manuscript on the Portfolio page of this website. |
