The Editor’s BlogMicrosoft WORD’s “Comment” feature is the principal medium through which Editors consult with their Authors on how to improve their Authors’ work. Having read and written thousands of such Comments, compiling a database in the process, I have become knowledgeable in the kinds of errors that scholarly writers make and the frequency with which they make them.
